Selecting the index:
The user must enter the language of the word or words sought.
A query can be made for one word or several words relating to a term. Normally prepositions, conjunctions etc. are not written. For example, if you wish to know how to say disk operating system in Basque, simply enter operating system, system disk or operating disk. It does not matter in which order the words are entered. The words may be written in upper or lower case, with or without accents. The words the user is searching for may be cut off at the ending using the '*' character. If the user makes a query involving two words or more than two words, the search is carried out using the AND logic relationship between the words. Once the consultation has been made, press the 'Search' button or the Enter key. The 'info' button provides information from dictionaries currently available, the number of files and the version. We welcome any suggestions concerning the terms found, and also consultations with regard to any terms which do not appear in the Term Bank, to the following e-mail address: euskalterm@uzei.com |
